Hailing from North and Central New Jersey, MamaLuke are a rock 'n roll band in the great tradition of frat rock/bar bands.
MamaLuke brings to the stage a loose party atmosphere with an emphasis on audience participation. These musicians each
have over fifteen years of professional experience.
The band consists of
the founding members of the original band Soul Engines whose five
self-produced cd's (Ghosts On A Landscape, 1991;
Learning To Live, 1992; Steel Spiked Fence, 1998; Endless Carnival, 1999; and Closer Still, 2002) have sold
over 7000 copies in New Jersey alone.
As MamaLuke they are able to utilize their musicianship and experience to cover material from the 50's through to today, without missing
a beat (pun intended). The band's versatility and high energy level enable them to appeal to a wide range audience.
